By fostering an environment where education, social welfare, and economic opportunity intersect, BSF strives to create lasting positive change. We remain steadfast in upholding the vision and values of Bartholomew Selvon, ensuring that his legacy lives on as a testament to his community activism.
We partner with communities to empower children and youths to reach their full potential. We invest in the education, well-being, and development of young individuals. We provide resources and financial assistance to this cause, and we are dedicated to playing a vital role in promoting peace in our communities.
The Bartholomew Selvon Foundation (BSF) is a community-based organization founded by the descendants of Bartholomew Selvon; School Teacher, Mentor and Community Activist.
Fondly nicknamed "Teach" by those who knew him, Bartholomew Selvon was selfless and driven in his aspiration to make sure that no one was left behind in his community.
He has left a legacy of unconditional service to those in need and his widow and children are building on this legacy by creating a foundation that will continue to teach, empower and advise our children and young people so that they have solid and bright futures.
Through its diverse initiatives, the Foundation aims not only to meet immediate community needs but also to empower individuals. We hold a deep commitment to uplifting underserved communities and nurturing the leaders of tomorrow. You can volunteer or join us in our fundraising ventures to also make a difference.
